Child and Family Therapy in the Southfield/Berkley Area
My name is Katie Smith and I am the owner/therapist of Syndesi, LLC. Syndesi means “connection” in Greek and I believe that children do better overall when they have strong connections to their families. These connections make families stronger and this makes their communities stronger. Long story short- we all do better with stronger children, families and communities!
Connections, like relationships, are tested during tough times and this is when therapy can help. I am a licensed clinical social worker and I have over ten years of experience providing therapy for children and families and specialize in working with children under the age of thirteen. I use a combination of play therapy, relationship building, and skill development. This helps to build, repair, and strengthen your family’s connections. We will get there together.
